    Hi! I have not found any informaion on this subject yet and hope you can help me. We will be in Disney August of 2010, could you tell me if the UP characters are expected to a permanent fixture at DHS? Thank you so much!

    While I have heard no official reports on this, my guess is that the UP characters will not be a permanent fixture at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

    The character greeting area where the UP characters are currently located, in the back of the Magic of Disney Animation attraction, has traditionally been a place where the latest Disney or Pixar animated release is promoted. The characters and/or display there has changed several times recently, from Wall-E to Bolt and now to UP. Again, I don't know for sure, but I am confident that at some point in the next year the themeing will change again.
