Hi there, Kasey, and welcome to planDisney!
It's a pleasure to see you here and thanks for bringing your question to us! I see that you're going to be addressing those post-Holiday blues in the best way possible... with a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! Let's make sure that you're all set for your trip.
Back in October 2023, the Disney Parks Blog made a very welcome announcement: that
reservations for date-based tickets would no longer be required as of January 9, 2024! This covers most standard Theme Park Tickets that Guests will purchase on the Walt Disney World website. I'm not able to look into your account or your ticket type, but if you had to select a date range when purchasing your tickets (e.g., if your 3-Day Ticket is valid for admission within a 5 day window), then these are date-based and you will not need reservations.
Ticket that do require reservations are Student Group tickets, Sport and Convention Tickets, Military Salute Tickets, Annual Passes, and all others not mentioned here. If you have any of these ticket types (e.g., if your ticket has no date range but just an expiration date), then point your browser to
Theme Park Reservations and click on the button to "Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations."
Your visit is quickly approaching, so make sure that you have the
My Disney Experience App loaded onto your phone before you get there! It's an invaluable aid and will help guide you upon arrival and while in the Parks.
Kasey, thanks again for coming to us and I wish you the most magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! Please write again if you think of more questions. You're always welcome at planDisney and we're happy to help! Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
