Hi Katiria,
If it has been a couple of decades since your last visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, you are in for a TREAT! I predict that you'll find your upcoming vacation to be a beautiful mix of old favorites and new surprises! I'm so excited for you and am more than happy to point you towards some helpful resources.
First, since the most magical place on earth has grown and changed a bit since your last visit, I'd recommend watching some free Walt Disney World Resort
planning videos to help you get a feel for the different theme parks and all of your options for Resort hotels. Once you have an idea of what all you'd like to experience during your vacation, you can consider how many days you'd like to visit the theme parks and which type of ticket you'd like.
Since your ticket and Resort hotel room will be the bulk of your budget expense, I'd keep an eye on the
Special Offers page for any discounts. I'd also encourage you to call (407) WDISNEY or (407) 934-7639 and
chat with a Vacation Planner, who will be able to help you put together all of the pieces to make a spectacular vacation within your budget.
Oh, and I have one more budget saving tip for you. Did you know that
you're able to bring your own food and drink into the theme parks? While there are a few restrictions, such as no glass bottles, food that needs to be heated, or large coolers, you can certainly save some money by packing some of your own meals!
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Katiria, and please let us know what other questions you have as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
