If I can not take a backpack into the park, what kind of bag can I take that I can carry sunscreen, snacks, water, etc. in?

    Hi Meg,

You can certainly bring a backpack into the theme parks.  There is a specific guideline listed on www.disneyworld.com under the Help tab at the top of the website.  Click on Help Center then Disney Theme Parks & Water Parks.  That will take you to FAQs, which is where you'll find a list of personal items that are not permitted in the parks.

In reference to the backpack guidelines, the backpack cannot have wheels and cannot be larger than 24" long, 15" wide and 18" high.  Those measurements translate into a standard backpack size (think of a school backpack).

I hope this information helps.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a magical day!
