I was not aware that the preferred room I booked at All-Star Sports was near the pool. My boys would rather stay in the football or baseball buildings. Is it too late to request a room in one of those sections? We are arriving the end of April. Thank you!

    Hi Amanda,

The preferred rooms at all the Disney resorts are the ones closest to the main resort amenities such as pools, restaurants, and transportation. However, there are some times when being close to those things doesn't make sense. For example, if you're looking for privacy/quiet, you might want to be more distant from the central action, or if, like in your case, you'd like to enjoy the unique themeing in a particular resort area.

It depends on availability, but my guess is that you would be able to switch to another resort category. The best way to do this is to call Disney directly to inquire. Dial 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639) and describe your situation to a reservationist.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
