Hi Malaia!
Welcome to planDisney! As my friend Princess Tiana would say, your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is getting
closer and closer every day! If you're anything like me, these final days are likely filled with packing, excitement, and putting the finishing touches on all of your plans.
Malaia, I see that you are familiar with
Disney's MagicMobile Service. This allows you to save your ticket that is linked to your My Disney Experience directly to your digital wallet, providing easy access to the parks right from your mobile device. When you're logged into your
My Disney Experience Mobile App, you can click the three lines in the bottom corner and then select "My Tickets & Passes" to view your theme park tickets. Under your active ticket, you should see an option that says "Save to Wallet." The app will then guide you through the process to save the pass to your digital wallet.
When Guests manage their own accounts, Disney recommends that
each individual create a Disney MagicMobile pass on their own device. If someone is managing plans for children or other individuals who do not have their own MyDisney accounts, MagicMobile passes can be created and saved to the digital wallet of the person managing their profile. When I view tickets in my app for my husband and teenage son (who each manage their own accounts), the option to save a pass to my digital wallet is not available. However, when I view the tickets for my two younger sons, I can create and save digital passes for them since I still manage their accounts. If you have specific questions about your tickets or would like more assistance with Disney's MagicMobile Service, you can always
call a Cast Member at App and MagicBand Support.
The good news, Malaia, is that there are multiple ways to access your admission tickets in the parks if you are unable to create a digital pass on your mobile device. Complimentary Key to the World Cards are available when you check in at your Disney Resort hotel and can act as both a room key and theme park ticket during your stay. These easily fit inside a wallet or lanyard, making them super convenient to keep with you throughout the day. Another option is to purchase a
MagicBand+, which truly puts the "fun" in functional! These bands are worn on your wrist and can be used to enter your room, scan into the theme park, and charge purchases back to your Disney Resort hotel room. They also interact with select entertainment throughout the parks. With so many cute designs, I've actually collected quite a few over the years so I can rotate through them during my stay! If you don't already have a MagicBand+ and decide you would like to purchase one, you can find them for sale at retail locations in Disney Resort hotels, throughout the parks, and at
Disney Springs.
Malaia, I hope this information has been helpful and that you enjoy all the
summertime fun happening during your trip! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us here at planDisney - we're all ears!
Cheers!
Kristi
