    We were not able to secure a fantasmic/dinner package. Can you recommend the best way and some tips to watch the show without guaranteed seats? How early do you think we need to line up?

    Hi Joyce,

    I've watched Fantasmic with the dining package and without it and both times I've had a fantastic view. The amphitheatre where Fantasmic is held is huge, it seats 10,000 people and also has standing room for an extra 2-3,000. Seating begins 90 minutes prior to each show and even though there are lots of seats if you are visiting at a busy time of year I would definitely recommend you arrive when seating begins. At quieter times you should aim to arrive about 60 minutes prior to the show.

    I always try and choose seats close to the top and in the middle, although all the seats have a good view I find that location to be the best. I also always go prepared for a long wait, as I have my children with me I take along sticker and colouring books, playing cards, drinks and snacks and so they don't nag me I take along any light-up toys that they already have. Something soft, such as a sweater, to sit on is also a great idea as sitting on those metal benches for over an hour can get very uncomfortable!
