Normally we just use cash at the parks but to respect the COVID policies. How often should I go to pay off what is charged to the Magicband/hotel room? Thanks!

    Welcome back, Robin!

I am so happy that you are getting ready for your springtime "Welcome Home."

According to Walt Disney World Resort's credit card authorization policy, an automatic authorization of $100 will be put on your credit card when checking in. This is only an authorization and will not be charged until the 5th day of your stay, and then again once you check out. For each $100 that you spend, another authorization will be put on your card for the total balance due plus $100. While the credit card authorization will continue to accrue based on your total spend, your card will only be charged every 5th day of your stay and again after check out.

So, if you would like to take the pending charges off your account, you may head to the front desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel every evening, but I only settle up my account about every 5th day to avoid the charges being accumulated. Robin, you will want to know that the reversal of the charges and holds on your credit card may take up to 5 days to process.

I hope that this helped, Robin. Enjoy your trip back to the Hundred Acre Woods!
