Hey there Ashley!
It’s so nice to hEAR from a fellow military family, welcome to
planDisney! As a military spouse myself, I would first like to begin with a huge “Thank You”, from my military family to yours.
I’m sure after hearing all about the Disneyland Resort, and
its phased reopening on April 30, 2021, you are so ready to return. I know my family is! The
Disneyland Resort has not yet shared the form of proof of residency that will be needed to visit. In the past, Guests using the
California resident ticket were required to show a government-issued photo ID like a drivers license. I’m not sure if the requirement will remain the same or be different. I do understand that with being in the military, that might be a little tricky. My fellow Panelist, Kristin, has shared
information on visiting the parks as a military family while residing in California. Again, I’m not sure if the process will remain the same or change.
Ashley, I do recommend following the Disney Parks on
social media, as well as the
Disney Parks Blog, for the most up-to-date information. This is where we will discover more information about the Disneyland Resort and what exactly will be needed to visit the parks as a California resident. As we wait for more information, please be sure to let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with. We’re all EARs!
Have a Magical Day!
