How exciting that you will be arriving at
The Most Magical Place on Earth so soon! I’m sorry you’re having a struggle with your
MagicBands, but I do have some ideas for you. Since I don’t know all the details of your visit, some of my suggestions may not apply, but hopefully one of them will be the right answer for you.
First, it is important to know that as of January 1, 2021, MagicBands are no longer provided as a complimentary
perk staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. If you were planning on receiving new MagicBands for this visit, and you did not purchase them yourself, that would explain why you don’t see any at this point. If this is the case, and you would like MagicBands for your visit, you can still purchase them at many
Disney shopping locations once you arrive.
Linking those bands to your
My Disney Experience account is quick and easy and I have done it on the go right on the
mobile app.
If you did purchase MagicBands in advance for this visit and linked them, or if you have MagicBands from a previous visit, they are usually visible in My Disney Experience under My MagicBands and Cards. MagicBands associated with family members are towards the bottom of the page, so keep scrolling down to see if they are still there. When I look at my page, I can see current and deactivated MagicBands linked to my account.
If you are still having issues with newly purchased or old MagicBands, I would
call tech support and see if they can assist you. Every once in a while, it seems as if Stitch or Goofy make a mess, and a little expert help may be needed!
