Hi again, Stephen!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney to ask us another question about the
Disneyland Resort. I’m happy to help as you get all of your ducks in a row and finalize your magical vacation plans!
I think there may be a bit of confusion about the
terms of Disney eTickets that can be purchased online, either directly from the Disneyland Resort or through third-party ticket vendors. The “24-hour” stipulation you’ve seen likely refers to the window of time it can take for valid tickets to be delivered to your email after a transaction is complete, as Disney eTickets purchased online or via the
Disneyland mobile app may not arrive immediately. It can take up to 24 hours after purchase confirmation when buying tickets directly from Disney, and many third-party ticket sites state that you should allow up to 48 hours for successful email delivery of your tickets.
The
theme park tickets that are currently available for purchase online through legitimate third-party vendors will have a variety of expiration dates depending on the ticket type, and the dates should be clearly stated so you’ll know the terms before you make a purchase. However, most unused tickets can still be exchanged for a valid ticket at the current price even after they expire (although additional fees may apply).
I hope this clears things up, Stephen, and that you’re able to purchase your tickets soon. Please feel free to
write back with any follow-up questions you may have as you continue planning your pixie-dusted vacation!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
