Are there any non-character breakfast buffets? My kids love breakfast and we already have several character breakfast and dinner reservations? Thanks!

Hi Karen! There are a few restaurants that offer breakfast buffets without the characters.

One of the most popular is Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, which offers not only the traditional American breakfast favorites, but also some delicious African-inspired dishes. I'm not a big juice drinker, but I cannot get enough of the yummy Frunch (a mixture of lemonade and juices) served at Boma.

The Dolphin Resort also offers a breakfast buffet at Fresh, which includes made-to-order eggs and omelets. I haven't dined here, but it generally gets favorable reviews from diners. You should know however, that Fresh does not participate in the Disney Dining Plan. The Garden Grove Cafe at the Dolphin's sister resort, the Swan, also offers a weekday breakfast buffet.

There are a couple of breakfast buffets that I consider hidden gems. The Trail's End at the Fort Wilderness Resort and the Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club both offer very reasonably-priced breakfast buffets, as well as regular menus, which is a nice option if not everyone in the party is a big breakfast eater.

Hope this helps! Have a magical vacation!
