Welcome aboard, Kaitlyn, and thanks for sailing by planDisney with another great question! It’s always a pleasure to help a fellow Pennsylvanian get ready for an adventure at sea.
I can only imagine how excited you must be to set sail on the beautiful
Disney Treasure. With so many themed lounges onboard (I have a feeling the Haunted Mansion Parlor is going to be a favorite), it’s nice to know you can still carry on a few of your own beverages, because those specialty drink tabs can add up quickly!
When it comes to non-alcoholic beer, like Heineken 0.0, it actually does count toward
Disney Cruise Line’s alcohol allowance. Guests 21 and older may bring up to 2 bottles of wine or champagne (750 ml each) or 6 beers (12 oz each) in their carry-on luggage at the start of the cruise and at each port of call. Even though it’s alcohol-free, non-alcoholic beer still falls under that “beer” category in the policy.
Once onboard, you can keep it chilled right in your stateroom fridge. And if one six-pack isn’t enough, you can always pre-purchase some before your cruise through
Onboard Gifts, which even offers Heineken 0.0 and some non-alcoholic wine options delivered straight to your stateroom. You’ll also find non-alcoholic beer available in many of the lounges onboard...I even spotted Heineken 0.0 listed on the menu at
Sarabi. I’ve tried it myself, and honestly, it’s surprisingly good!
I hope this helps clear up the confusion, Kaitlyn. Cheers!
Sea ya real soon,
Eean
