Hi Lauren,
Disney World has so many services and options for
guests with disabilities. This includes non-visible disabilities. We utilize these services on most of our visits and it allows us to enjoy the magic and makes it easier for us to navigate the theme parks.
I highly recommend going to
Guest Services when you arrive to see if you qualify for Disability Access Services (DAS). This is a great program that allows you to reserve Lighting Lane entrance times if your disability makes it difficult for you to wait in line for an extended period of time. If you qualify, they will get you set up to utilize this service on your mobile device through the My Disney Experience App. We typically use the waiting time to relax in a calmer, quieter environment and then return when it is our turn to ride.
Unfortunately, even if you qualify for DAS there is not a reserved space for Happily Ever After Fireworks viewing. The only reserved spaces are for guests in wheelchairs and ECVs. I recommend reserving a table at one of the
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties so that your whole party can sit down and savor lots of sweet treats with lots of space around you so the fireworks show doesn't feel as overwhelming.
If that doesn't work for your party, there are so many options for places to watch the fireworks that there isn't a bad view. I always like to watch them close to the Magic Kingdom entrance/exit because it isn't quite as loud and you get the be one of the first people to leave when they complete so you avoid some of the congestion.
Happy Planning
Jenna
