Ahoy, Sue! Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question. It sounds like you’ve got a magical New Year’s voyage ahead!
I really do appreciate that Disney Cruise Line lets Guests bring a little something onboard when it comes to beverages. When my friend and I sailed on the Disney Magic this summer, we each brought our two allowed bottles of wine, and it truly made our little in-room “happy hours” feel extra special (and saved us a bit, too!).
When it comes to
Disney Cruise Line’s carry-on alcohol policy, non-alcoholic beer is treated the same as regular beer. That means each adult can bring up to six cans or bottles (12 oz or less) in their carry-on bag at the start of the cruise and at each port. Even though it’s non-alcoholic, it still counts as part of the beer allowance, so just make sure it stays in your carry-on so it can be checked at the port.
If you’d rather skip carrying anything onboard, you can also preorder a 6-pack of Heineken 0.0 through
Onboard Gifts, and it will be waiting for you in your stateroom’s beverage cooler when you arrive. Many lounges onboard also offer non-alcoholic options, so you’ll have no trouble finding something.
I hope this helps as your countdown continues, Sue! If you have any more questions, feel free to write us back anytime.
Sea ya real soon,
Eean
