Hi Derek, welcome to planDisney. We are happy to help you out!
I don't know about you, but I love
Disney Gift Cards. They are so versatile in their use, you can purchase souvenirs, food, and purchase theme park tickets. If you are running low on funds, you can add more money to your account, and they also do not expire. Plus, they come in some pretty magical designs!
If you want to add a Disney gift card to your payments section on your
My Disney Experience account, unfortunately, that's not an option now. At this time, Disney accepts most major credit cards (including American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa) as forms of payment. If you wish to pay for your magical Disney vacation, what you can do is log into your
My Disney Experience account, and go to your upcoming reservation. Click on "My Plans", and your reservation should pop up. Select "Make a Payment", which is located underneath your confirmation number. You will then be taken to the payment section, and from there, you can pay for your Disney Gift Card by selecting "Redeem Disney Gift Card".
I hope this information helps you with your planning adventure, Derek! Life is the bubbles, and we hope to see you at Walt Disney World very soon!
Frances
