    Hello Debbie! Welcome to planDisney!

With less than a month to go before you head out for your magical vacation, you and your party must be getting so excited! Start throwing those bathing suits, sunglasses and ponchos (just in case!) into your suitcase and you'll be off before you know it!  Walt Disney World Resort is a truly magnificent place to be, whether you plan on staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or not.

While some hotels that are outside of Disney property do include complimentary transportation to the Theme Parks as part of your stay, you are certainly welcome to use a Rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to get you to and from the Parks each day.  However, once you're on Disney property you can use Disney transportation such as the Disney Skyliner, Monorail, busses, or boats, to get you anywhere you want to be within the Resort. This is great to know if you have a Park Hopper Option ticket and plan on starting your day at Magic Kingdom Park and ending it at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  You can even head from a Park to a Resort for a dining reservation this way!

When it comes to being dropped off by a Rideshare service, you'll find that there are different drop-off and pick-up areas depending on which Theme Park you're headed to.  When making your way to Magic Kingdom, your driver will drop you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center.  From here, you'll be whisked away by Monorail or Ferry to watch Cinderella Castle magically appear over the horizon. This is my absolute favorite part of arriving at the Park.  My family is just about bursting with excitement at this point and seeing that beautiful castle is like riding off into a real fairytale.

When you're headed to Disney's Hollywood Studios to enjoy the Golden Age of movies, your Toy Story pals, and the planet of Batuu at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, your drop-off point will be near the Skyliner Station. From here you'll be able to follow signs pointing you right in the direction of the main entrance to the Park. Don't forget to try a Lunch Box Tart from Woody's Lunch Box when you feel like you need a "pick me up."  These sweet treats are all delicious no matter which flavor you choose!

When you're ready to head home after a magical day, look for the signs that say "RIDESHARE" near the location where you were dropped off.  From here, you'll be able to meet your driver and head back to your Resort to recharge for another day!

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
