With there no longer being park reservations required for date-based tickets, can you join the virtual que for Guardians of the Galaxy and Tron at 7am? Providing you have a ticket with the park hopper option.

Greetings, Zachary, and welcome to planDisney! It looks like you just arrived for your Walt Disney World Resort visit, and I hope it's off to a practically perfect start. You must be a thrill seeker, so let's look at how the virtual queues will work for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and TRON Lightcycle / Run during your stay. You need to save the galaxy AND ride for Team Blue!

You're correct that date-based theme park tickets no longer require reservations, so you should be able to join a virtual queue at any theme park offering one. The catch is that you can only join one boarding group at a time. You'd need to decide which virtual queue to join at 7:00 AM and be prepared to tap "Join Virtual Queue" on the dot in your mobile app.

If you have the Park Hopper option on your tickets, the good news is that you could potentially join a second virtual queue at 1:00 PM for a different attraction. Remember, you must be scanned inside the theme park where that attraction is to join the afternoon queue. This might be possible if you secure an early time for the first one, but be prepared to hustle between EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park!

Keep an eye on the virtual queue information since procedures can change. A little frog told me a new virtual queue might be available this summer when Tiana's Bayou Adventure opens at Magic Kingdom Park. As Tiana sings, "We're almost there!"

Zachary, I'm waving my Fairy Godmother wand so you'll have twice the heart-pounding fun this week! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
