Hiya Melissa! Welcome to planDisney.
You have made the
BEST decision staying at one of the Disney Resort hotels during your visit. I can make an entire vacation just out of the activities and amenities in the Resort. One of my favorite things to do with the kids at the end of the day is head down to the hotel's lawn and watch a
complimentary movie with s'mores!
You didn't indicate which hotel you are staying at, but rest assured, most
in-room beverage coolers have a small freezer section that should be cool enough to prep your packs for the next day. When we aren't staying in one of the DVC properties that have a full fridge and freezer, we like to place our cooling towels in an ice bucket (one will be in the room), fill it up with ice, and cover it. Then, right before bed, pop them in the freezer section of the beverage cooler. That way, they are super cold in the morning!
Feel free to bring a
small soft-sided cooler into the parks to keep your ice packs cool when you're not using them. Bring some small ziplock bags, grab complimentary ice from one of the Quick Service dining locations, and drop your towels and
DIY ice bags in the cooler.
I hope this helps, and that your magical trip is worth melting for! You know where to find us if you have any other questions.
