How come there are no Disney cruises from San Diego in December 2024?

    Hi Liana,

Thanks for setting your compass toward planDisney! We are always happy to welcome West Coast Guests onboard!

You ask a most excellent question, Liana. Disney Wonder usually calls San Diego home from mid-March through May. Then she sails to Vancouver to spend the summer with Guests in Alaska until she repositions to Australia and New Zealand. She heads back to San Diego for another springtime adventure along the sunny southern Pacific Coast and a summer in majestic Alaska. Now, we don't know the itineraries for October 2025 and beyond, so maybe we will see something new next year. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

If you are interested in a December 2024 cruise that is a little closer to home, check out the Disney Magic itineraries from Galveston, Texas. The December Very Merrytime Cruises from Galveston sound holly jolly!

Liana, when I'm awaiting Disney Cruise Line news regarding upcoming itineraries, I keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Disney Cruise Line Instagram account. New is usually announced there first. You never know when Disney might make some magic in your favorite port!

Thanks for dropping anchor at planDisney! Please let us know if you have other questions; we are happy to help.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon

Hi! I'm a dreamer and doer who loves exploring the big blue world! My love for Disney began at Walt Disney World Resort and after my first Disney Cruise Line vacation I was hooked. I especially enjoy the ships' adult-exclusive spaces and activities while experiencing the magic only Disney can create. A Land and Sea vacation combining an action-packed Walt Disney World Resort visit and a relaxing Disney Cruise Line voyage is my favorite way to do Disney. I can't wait to help you create your magical memories! Learn More About Shannon
