With no budget, please tell me which resort hotel to book for a December 2012 trip to Disney World. We have a 4 year old daughter. Thank you.

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Amie!  December is my favorite time to visit the "Happiest Place on Earth!" My favorite Disney Resort during the Christmas holidays is DIsney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, which features a giant 16 foot edible gingerbread house in the lobby. We enjoyed our first stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in May and absolutely oved the Victorian-style Disney Deluxe Resort, which is distinguished as the flagship hotel of Walt Disney World. The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa sits along the white-sand shores of Seven Seas Lagoon and is a short monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom park. Guests will also be treated to nightly turn down service at this resort location.  I would also highly recommend Disney's Polynesian Resort for its tropical theming, monorail access, spacious room accommodations, and fabulous dining options. I believe you will find staying at a Magic Kingdom Resort with monorail access to be a huge convenience with a four-year-old allowing you to easily travel back to your resort for a midday break or nap. Guests traveling on the monorail do not have to collapse their strollers, which is another convenience with a sleeping toddler. I also think your "little princess" would enjoy staying in a Royal Guest Room at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. This Disney Moderate Resort offers a rural Louisiana theming in a relaxed setting. Guests can also travel to Downtown Disney via the Sassagoula River Cruise at this resort location. I got a sneak peek tour of the Royal Guest Rooms in April and loved the attention to detail....it is truly a room fit for a princess!  I would recommend visiting the unofficial website allears.net to view their extensive photo gallery for each of these Disney Resorts. I hope this information helps in making your decision. Please feel free to write me back with any additional questions that you may have.  Best wishes for a Magical and Merry December Trip, Amie!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
