Hello from NJ! We are attending MNSSHP on Sept. 2. I know adults are not allowed to wear masks, but is makeup allowed? We are planning to dress up as bank robbers with painted on "masks". Thanks for your help!

    Boo to you Regina!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite celebrations at Walt Disney World! From the trick-or-treating on Main Street, U.S.A to the spook-tacular decorations, everything is a treat!

While the littles get to dress up at Walt Disney World on the regular, this party is one of the few times adults get to join in on the fun! I think it’s great that you’ve got a theme for your costumes, and it’s super smart to be checking the costume guidelines before you get everything prepped. As you know, masks are not allowed for guests over 14, but tasteful makeup is within the guidelines. Make sure that it is family-friendly and appropriate, and that any headgear you choose does not cover your face!

When you are at Magic Kingdom Park in your bandit outfits, have a Disney PhotoPass Photographer capture your boo-tiful memories. Keep an eye out for the Magic Shots with a Halloween twist! Besides the Special Character appearances, my favorite event is the wickedly wild Halloween Parade. I love seeing the ghoulish residents of The Haunted Mansion out of their eerie abode!

Regina, I hope this answered your question. If you have any more, please come on back. chEARs to a frightfully delightful experience!
