Hello there, Foster, and welcome back to planDisney!
We're happy to hear from you again and I hope that planning is going well for your magical trip to the Disneyland Resort! If you're asking about Oogie Boogie Bash, I'm guessing that you'll be here for the
Halloween Season. It's my favorite time to visit and the decorations are so fun and festive!
It wasn't clear from your question whether you're attending
Oogie Boogie Bash or not (if you did manage to score tickets, congratulations!). Disney has not listed a World of Color showing as part of the entertainment for Oogie Boogie Bash, so I'm guessing that it will not occur on nights when the party happens. This is in line with what's happened the past couple of years but the party offers so much to do for Guests that you don't really miss it. From walking through Villain's Grove, the Frightfully Fun Parade, immersive Treat Trails, and Character Photo Ops, time is going to fly right by! Trust me from experience!
If you aren't attending Oogie Boogie Bash but want to make sure that you get to experience
World of Color - ONE during your visit, you'll need to arrange to be in Disney California Adventure Park on a non-party evening. Disney releases their
Entertainment Schedule six weeks in advance, so we aren't up to the Halloween Season just yet, but check back when your visit nears. Last year, World of Color showings did happen on nights that the Park didn't close early for Oogie Boogie Bash. If you want to be sure to get a viewing spot, the
virtual queue opens at noon or consider a World of Color
Dining Package or
Dessert Party.
Foster, I hope that I was able to answer your question. Good luck with your planning and I wish you a truly magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Please return again if you need anything else. We'd love to hear from you and are always eager to help.
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
