what are the nightly fireworks, or parades

    Hi Scott!

Welcome to planDisney! There really is nothing like nighttime at the Disney Parks, so let’s go over all of the options you’ll have during your trip to make the most of it.

Just as a little disclaimer before we get started: all of the times I’m about to list are subject to change. I recommend checking your My Disney Experience app or the Hours & Events Calendar online for the most up-to-date information leading up to your trip.

Ok…first up, Magic Kingdom! Because there’s something super exciting happening during your trip! The brand-new Disney Starlight nighttime parade will debut on July 20, 2025. In late July, you’ll have two chances to see it each night: 9 PM and 11 PM. The parade starts at the front of the park, makes its way down Main Street U.S.A., and then curves back around to Liberty Square before ending in Frontierland.

In addition to the nighttime parade, there will be one showing of Happily Ever After (the fireworks at Magic Kingdom…and probably my favorite nighttime show at Disney World!) at 10 PM each night.

It’s good to note that once Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party gets started, the Disney Starlight parade and Happily Ever After will not be shown whenever it’s a party night at the Magic Kingdom. The party includes its own unique entertainment that’s just as great!

Next up, Hollywood Studios. Here, you’ll have two nighttime show options. Wonderful World of Animation is a projection show that takes place on the outside of the Chinese Theater (which is home to Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway). This show is at 9 PM each night.

My favorite nighttime show at Hollywood Studios, though? Fantasmic! If you’re at Hollywood Studios at night, this is a must-see in my opinion. Looking at the calendar, there seems to be one showing (at 9 PM) on some nights and two showings (one at 9 PM and one at 10:30 PM) on other nights. Make sure to check the showtimes based on which day you plan to visit that park.

Finally, at Epcot, Luminous The Symphony of Us is the nightly fireworks show, and it takes place at 9 PM at the end of July. I’ve actually had my eye on trying out the new GEO-82 Fireworks Experience. I’m hoping to snag a reservation for this on my next trip!

If you have any other questions, let us know. We’re always happy to help! In the meantime, enjoy watching that countdown get smaller and smaller. We’ll see you real soon!
