We are going on the 7 night western carribean cruise. What are some things we can pack to save money. Like we always pack pirate gear for the pirate night. Are there other nights we need other type of costumes or toys?

    Ahoy Jennifer!
When you pull into Port Canaveral you are going to be blown away by the beauty of the Disney Fantasy!  You will love the classic style of this spectacular vessel so have your camera ready!
I like that you are thinking ahead on ways to save by bringing along your own pirate gear.  This is the only themed night, but if you have a princess, you might also want to bring along princess attire for the formal night.  My kids also enjoy bringing autograph books to have the characters sign at the "Meet & Greets." We also drop off two items at Guest Services to have signed by our favorite characters such as a photo mat, pillowcase or Vinylmation.  These make inexpensive souvenirs that you will treasure from your sailing.  If you decide to leave the items, make sure to place them in a plastic bag labeled with your last name and stateroom number.  I also include sharpies or fabric markers along with a few pieces of candy as a thank you.  Your items will be returned on the last night of your voyage.
Many Guests also like to decorate their stateroom door with festive magnets.  This is a fun way to personalize your room and a great way to recognize your home away from home for the week!  Guest Services does have magnets if you forget!
My last suggestion is to purchase a few Disney Gift Cards before setting sail and give these to your kiddos along with a few Disney Dollar Tree items during your cruise.  You can leave them on the bed with some confetti so that when your children return they will receive a special pixie dusted surprise!  We give our kids the gift cards so they can spend them in the gift shops onboard or on Castaway Cay.  Even though the charges go on your "Key to the World" card, you can turn the gift cards in to Guest Services and they will credit your stateroom account.
I hope my suggestions help!  Please let me know if you have any other cruise questions!
