We’re on the 7-night western Caribbean cruise to Cozumel, GCM, Jamaica, and castaway. Trying to figure out the dining order and special nights so we can get palo or remy without missing our favorite rotations. Can you share our specific order? Thank you!

    Welcome, Robert!

Thank you for bringing your important vacation question to planDisney; I also love to plan each evening in advance and am happy to help you know what to expect on your upcoming cruise. A Disney Cruise Line vacation is so special, and I know you’re going to have an amazing time! The Disney Fantasy is my favorite ship, and I’ve also enjoyed this Western Caribbean itinerary. It’s full of great ports of call with many fun Port Adventures and gorgeous sites at each one. Let’s dive into the details of your schedule together.

Disney’s innovative rotational dining means that you will receive a specific dining location schedule when you board; this will be visible in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once you switch to “onboard mode” at the port terminal or on the Disney Fantasy. You can then see a personalized itinerary for each day, including the dining location and associated menu for that night. For your 7-night sailing, you will be in one of the main dining rooms three times and the others for two nights each. I understand wanting to add an evening at adult-exclusive Remy or Palo and coordinating the best day for your preferences. Please see this answer I provided another Guest with all the details on how you can call Disney with special requests to help influence your personal dining rotation schedule.

I advise you to reserve Remy and/or Palo now, and then inquire about any desired adjustments once onboard. On embarkation day, there will be locations itemized in your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to visit the dining team in person and request a change or a new reservation. Once you see your full main dining rotation you can request a change to your adult-exclusive dining if it doesn’t align with your preferences. While nothing is guaranteed, I’ve found the dining team to be very accommodating and with seven nights you should be able to have a practically perfect plan in place before you sail away.

I can also share the specific planned entertainment schedule, though please know it is also subject to change. For your 7-Night Western Caribbean sailing leaving June 3, 2023:

    • Saturday, Port Canaveral: Cruise Casual
    • Sunday, At Sea: Formal, with Silver Anniversary at Sea Fireworks
    • Monday, Cozumel: Cruise Casual
    • Tuesday, Grand Cayman: Pirate Night
    • Wednesday, Falmouth: Cruise Casual
    • Thursday, At Sea: Semi-Formal
    • Friday, Castaway Cay: Cruise Casual

This summer we’re commemorating the 25th anniversary of Disney Cruise Line, so your Silver Anniversary at Sea sailing will include many new surprises and fun ways to celebrate. This includes an additional evening of a new fireworks spectacular, currently scheduled for your Sunday night.

I hope this helps you feel at ease and finalize the details for your cruise, Robert! Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Wishing you a magical cruise,
    Amy
