There Is a dining room on Fantasy that I dont really like. Is there a way to insure we dont get that one 3 times in our rotation

    Hello, Joyce!

Thanks for bringing your honest question to our crew at planDisney. Since you are a repeat cruiser, it’s only natural to have favorites from each experience. A Disney Cruise Line vacation is so special and should be full of positive memories, so let’s help you make the most of your next one when it comes to dining!

As you know, Disney prides itself on the innovative rotational dining among the main dining rooms onboard each ship. With the Fantasy’s dreamy 7-night sailings, this means you would be in one of those restaurants three times. While the menu changes with each experience (such as Pirate Night), I understand wanting to savor your favorites. The three main dining rooms on the Disney Fantasy are Animator’s Palate, Enchanted Garden, and Royal Court.

You are welcome to call Disney Cruise Line and make a special request. Please know that to give all Guests the best experience when making dining arrangements, your request will be noted and prioritized on your reservation but cannot be guaranteed. For the best chance in having your request met, I suggest articulating it along these lines:

    • “I’d like to eat at Royal Court three times”
    • “I’d like to eat in Enchanted Garden on Pirate Night”
    • “I’d like to NOT eat in Enchanted Garden three times”
    • “I have Palo dinner reserved on Tuesday, please don’t schedule Royal Court that night”

You may also ask Disney about the entertainment and special theme night schedule for your sailing, as I’m not sure of your sail date to share those details with you now. This will help you know if you’d like to plan an adults-exclusive meal at Palo or Remy one evening or miss the Pirate Night menu altogether, for example. Once onboard, there is always something cookin’ at the casual dining locations, or you may take advantage of 24-hour room service where most items are complimentary.

I can relate to having preferences and there is no shame in voicing them, Joyce! I’m also particular when it comes to my meals. On the Disney Dream last year, I was eating a pasta dish and must have been making a funny face or appearing to not enjoy it as much as expected. To my surprise, our Head Server proactively presented me with a beautiful plate of the sea bass and risotto dish I enjoyed the night prior from a different main dining room! He insisted that I must enjoy everything, no experience should be mediocre, and they are there to help us. I learned to speak up and kindly ask for options if I don’t care for the entrée selections in a main dining room. The service onboard Disney Cruise Line is unmatched, and I know you will have a wonderful dining experience.

I hope all your dining wishes come true as you place your request with the magical dining team! Please let us know if you have any more questions to help you make the most of your special vacation.

    Cheers,
    Amy
