Hello - I have a 6 night WDW trip booked with dining plan. I've reserved all my dinners (and other meals) and was fully expecting to pay for some out of pocket. Can I choose which I use my meal plan credit for or will WDW take the equiv of the first 6?

Hi Michael! You can choose the meals for which you want to pay with your Disney Dining Plan credits. When you're dining at a table-service restaurant, the server will ask you at the beginning of your meal whether you're using the Dining Plan. You can choose to use the Dining Plan credits, or you can tell the server you're paying out-of-pocket for that meal. Likewise, at the quick-service locations, you'll have the option of paying for your food with meal or snack credits or out-of-pocket.
