What night time entertainment is available at DTD since Pleasure Island has closed it's night clubs, comedy clubs and dance clubs?

    Hi Priscilla,

The nightclubs at Pleasure Island are, indeed, permanently closed.  There's no word on what is being planned for this location, but I suspect Disney has something fabulous in mind!   There are wonderful restaurants and shopping options.  We love Fulton's Crabhouse (Seafood), Bongos (Cuban) and Portobello Yacht Club (Italian).  Downtown is still a fabulous place to spend an evening.  I have another great alternative for you and your group of party-seekers. The Boardwalk boasts two wonderful locations for dancing and singing the night away.  Atlantic Dance is a 21 and over club which features a DJ  and dancing, and Jellyrolls is the home of the famous "dueling pianos,"  where competing piano players take audience requests and encourage sing-alongs.  I've been to both locations with my husband while our kids were hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa, and had a great time.  The Boardwalk also features some of Disney's best dining, with the Flying Fish Cafe and Spoodles among a number of other fabulous spots.  In addition, the Boardwalk has a number of free entertainers that rove the "planks" and entertain the crowds, including magicians, comedians and other "street" performers.

I hope you'll consider giving the Boardwalk a try for a fun night out!  Have a wonderful trip!
