Welcome back to planDisney, Leita! You've asked another great question! I am channeling my inner Elsa when she says, "My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around." I'm not sure what she means, but it certainly seems math-related to me! I did some quick number crunching, and I'd be happy to share what I found.
So one option would be to purchase a
2 Day Park Hopper Plus ticket. The Park Hopper Option allows you to visit more than one park per day. Guests must make a theme park reservation via the
Disney Park Pass reservation system for the first park they plan to visit. After entering that first park, Guests will be able to head to the next park starting at 2 PM until each park's regularly scheduled closure. The "Plus" part of the ticket gives you a certain number of visits to other Walt Disney World fun, based on the length of your ticket, so for you, this would be two visits. This way, you can visit all three parks and the Water Parks.
Otherwise, you can purchase a 1 Day Theme Park Ticket with 1 Park per Day, which would be one transaction. Then, you can go back in and buy a 1 Day Park Hopper Plus ticket, which would allow you one day at the parks and one day at the Water Park (just a reminder, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park remains closed at this time, but
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is open)!
When I did the math, it looks like the second option, which is the one you referenced, saves you a few dollars. But hey...a few bucks can buy a Dole Whip or a Cream Cheese Stuffed Pretzel (my favorite)! So as long as you don't mind making separate transactions, I'd say go for it! Since you'll be there for five days, make sure to spend some downtime at your resort.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort has great recreation offerings, including archery lessons and horseback riding. If you're really into adventure, consider the
Wilderness Back Trail Adventure, and you can explore the resort on a 2 hour Segway tour!
I hope this helps, Leita! All this thinking has me hankering for a Mickey Pretzel now- Mmmmmm!
