Ahoy, Suellen!
In less than a week, you'll be sailing to the Caribbean on the
Disney Fantasy! Hooray! I'm sure your crew has been dreaming of your
Halloween on the High Seas cruise for months, so I know you are ready to get this vacation underway.
Suellen, it sounds like you are working on your last-minute to-do list before you can turn on vacation mode. If you'd like to leave a number for family members, please share your ship's name, stateroom number, and 1-888-322-8732. Calling this number does involve a fee, so my advice is to let family members know it should only be used in case of an emergency. On my most recent sailing, I was able to stay in touch with family members back home using iMessage on my iPhone without having to purchase an internet package. I was connected to the free DCL-Guest Wi-Fi, which allowed me to send text messages (and emojis!), but no pictures or videos. So this is a great option if you or any of your family members use Apple devices. If you'd like to email or use the internet during your voyage, you will need to purchase an
internet package through the Connect@Sea program. You'll find information in your stateroom or at the Connect@Sea Desk on Deck 4.
I'm sure suitcases are filling up with bathing suits, cruise casual attire, pirate garb, and Halloween costumes for your seven-night adventure. I always check the
Disney Cruise Line suggested packing list before closing up our bags, so I don't forget anything important. Although the
merchandise shops onboard offer a variety of items just in case! If you have any other questions as you prepare for next weekend, please let us know, Suellen. We'd love to help!
Have a MAGICAL time!
Nancy
