Welcome aboard, Karen! My family and I love sailing with Disney Cruise Line anytime, but some of our favorite cruises have been the holiday themed sailings, as there is so much more magic offered onboard!
Since you're on a three-night sailing, both
Mickey's Mouse-querade Halloween Party and Pirate Night will most likely occur on Day Two of your cruise. The Mouse-querade Party usually happens twice that day, around 3:15 and again at 4:45. This leaves plenty of time to change out of Halloween costumes (unless you're a pirate for Halloween!) and into Pirate costumes and attire for the Pirate Night festivities that begin at dinner. Typically, the Broadway-style musicals begin at 6:15 for the early showing, so you could attend either Halloween party time, since they last about half hour, and still have time to get changed and relax before heading to the Walt Disney Theatre.
As for the photo package, be sure to check out the link to My Cruise Photos from the
Disney Cruise Line Photography page. There you can choose your exact sail date and view the packages available and pre-order. As long as one of the family members staying in the stateroom that purchases the photo package is in the photo, it will be included in your package. For example Mom, Dad, and two kids are in stateroom 1, Grandparents in stateroom 2, and Uncle, Aunt, and Cousin are in stateroom 3. Stateroom 1 buys the photo package. If child from stateroom 1 is in a photo with grandparents, it's included. If the kids from stateroom 1 and 3 are together, it's included. A photo of the grandparents alone would not be included, nor would a photo of the family is stateroom 3 alone. I hope that helps! Another option is to buy individual photos onboard.
Have a great cruise, Karen!
