Hi there, Nicole. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
I am sorry that a
Disneyland After Dark event has put a snag in your plans. Unfortunately, the
Disneyland Theme Park Tickets Terms & Conditions state that tickets are nonrefundable, and that "Parks, attractions, services, experiences, products, and other offerings are subject to modifications, availability, capacity, closures and change or cancellation without notice or liability. Park admission and offerings are not guaranteed." I'm sorry if this isn't what you hoped to hear, Nicole. You are welcome to switch your Disneyland Park day to another date if your tickets are still valid. There may be a price difference if there is a difference in tier/ticket price for a new date.
If you decide to stick with your original date, you can still enjoy
Disneyland Park until 8:00 PM that day. On special visits, I purchase the
Genie+ Service and Individual Lighting Lane as an add-on to my ticket to maximize my time in the parks. Nicole, these options may be something to look into if your group has limited time. Another time-saving option is to mobile order food in the Disneyland Mobile App, whenever possible. I like to place my orders first thing in the morning so I can get the best pickup time possible to suit my needs.
Nicole, if you haven't already, I also might consider adding the Park Hopper option to your tickets, to allow you to experience both Disneyland theme parks in one day. If you do have Park Hopper, I recommend hopping over to
Disney California Adventure Park a bit before Disneyland Park closes (around 7:00-7:30 PM) to avoid the rush of other Guests coming over when it closes at 8:00 PM.
I know the early park closure may not have been what you envisioned, Nicole. I hope you have a wonderful and magical trip with your family. Please let me know if you have any other questions - I am happy to assist!
See you real soon,
Melissa
