We will be going to Disneyland and ca adventure at the end of June. I purchased the DCL soft cooler bag on our Disney cruise earlier this year. Am I able to bring it with us into the parks to keep waters cold?

Greetings, Kayla. Welcome back to planDisney!

There is nothing I love more than using my Disney swag, and I love that you're thinking ahead to your visit this month! Let's get to your question.

I have great news, Kayla! Coolers are permitted at the Disneyland Resort theme parks. However, there are some size restrictions and they may be no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) and they cannot contain loose or dry ice. When my kids were little and needed specific foods kept cold, I used reusable ice packs to keep things cold. I highly suggest you do the same, as anything on the Prohibited Items list will not be permitted through security.

Kayla, this is the perfect time to visit the Disneyland Resort, as Pixar Fest is going on now through August 4. Both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park have some delightful new offerings during the event that I think you'll enjoy. At California Adventure, check out the "Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!" parade. It's got classic and contemporary Pixar pals that everyone will enjoy. At Disneyland Park, I recommend the Pixar Pals Playtime Party at Fantasyland Theatre. My kids loved interacting with characters from Up! and Inside Out 2.  I hope you are able to enjoy this and more during your visit!

Thanks again for stopping by, Kayla. Please visit us again with any other questions!

    See you in the parks,
    Melissa
