I am going on a 3 night Disney cruise that departs January 2. Will the Christmas decorations be down by then?

    Ahoy, Kimberly!

You are starting 2018 the right way with a magical vacation aboard the Disney Dream! What a fantastic way to extend the holiday season for a few more days! You'll love exploring all this beautiful vessel has to offer and spending the day in Disney Castaway Cay. When I cruised last month, I spent a lot of time relaxing in Quiet Cove Pool area and popping in to Vanellope's Sweets and Treats for a delectable indulgence. This festive candy shop has a menu full of goodies including Artisan Sundaes, Mickey Mouse Truffles, Gelato, Macarons just to name a few. Although these delicious goodies are not included in your cruise fare, the pricing is very reasonable in my opinion.

In the past, the holiday decor comes down shortly after Christmas so it will most likely not be decorated on your sailing. But, the ship looks stunning without the holiday decor so you will still be in awe when you enter the Grand Lobby Atrium and tour the beautifully appointed areas. I love to notice all the small details that Disney is known for especially in the dining areas. Hidden Mickeys at sea are also fun to find so be on the look out!

Kimberly, enjoy counting down to your "Dreamy" sailing next January! You'll be surprised at how quickly time flies when you have a magical vacation to look forward to!
