Hi! We are going on our 2nd 3-night cruise in November (Merrytime Cruise). Can you please tell me when the Pirate Night will be for our itinerary? Also, when will the lighting ceremony be? Trying to plan out our activities. :)

    Ahoy, Cassandre!

It is wonderful to hEAR from you again! In just a few months, you'll be boarding the Disney Dream as a SILVER Castaway Club Member! Doesn't that sound great? And I love that you've chosen a Very Merrytime Cruise for your vacation because there's nothing quite like being onboard during the holiday season. The festive decor that fills the Disney Cruise Line terminal, the beautiful Disney Dream and let's not forget, Castaway Cay will have you in the holiday spirit throughout sailing!

By selecting a Very Merrytime Cruise, Cassandre, you'll get to experience the amazing activities and events that are held on every Bahamian adventure with some holiday fun sprinkled in to make it even more magical! One of these events is the ever-popular Pirate Night (Argh, Matey!). This is normally scheduled for Day Two on the 3-night voyages. No matter how many times I set sail with Disney Cruise Line, I never get tired of seeing the magnificent fireworks at sea! It's also fun to see how many landlubbers transform in pirates for the festivities! The creativity of some Guests always amazes me!  I hope your pirate crew will be decked out in their pirate garb for this very entertaining evening on the high seas!

The holiday happenings will be a highlight of your Merrytime Cruise, so you'll want to keep a close eye on your Personal Navigator and Disney Cruise Navigator app for all the scheduled events. Mickey's Tree Lighting Magic takes place the first evening between the two dinner seatings around 7:30 p.m. I would arrive 10 to 15 minutes early so you can claim your spot in the Lobby Atrium on Deck Three or along the railing on Deck Four. This gorgeous tree is the perfect backdrop for your cruise photos, Cassandre. I've even used a picture we've taken in front of this tree as my Christmas card photo, and it turned out perfectly!
