Ahoy, Crystal!
I'm sure the packing is underway for your Western Caribbean Cruise on the
Disney Magic THIS weekend! And I am so happy you sent in this question so I give you a few tips on what to bring on your sailing. You don't want your bags to be too full because you'll need some space for some special souvenirs to remember your cruise vacation.
First, check out the
Disney Cruise Line Packing List to use as a guideline of what to include in your suitcase. I also like to check the weather forecast for my departure port and the ports of call a few days prior before I leave especially around this time of year, so I know whether or not I need to throw in a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt. It does get cool on deck in the evening so I like to be prepared for my nightly strolls! On your particular cruise, you will have three nights of cruise casual attire, one
pirate-themed night (pirate attire or cruise casual) and one optional dress-up night. I always like to pick one dressier outfit for my family to wear on the dress-up night because it is the perfect opportunity for a family photo in the Grand Lobby Atrium by a
Shutter's photographer. There will be several backgrounds offered, and the characters will also be available for pictures in their formal duds! The Personal Navigator, your daily cruise newsletter, will list the nightly attire for the entire cruise in the first edition, which you'll receive during check-in at the terminal.
Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Have a magical time at sea with Disney Cruise Line, Crystal!
