Ahoy, Kristin!
Seven magical nights onboard the
Disney Fantasy is my kind of vacation! I'm also excited that you'll be experiencing a
Halloween on the High Seas sailing. Disney Cruise Line knows how to celebrate holidays at sea, so your crew is in for a SPOOK-tacular time.
Kristin, you've made a wise decision to experience an adult-only evening at
Palo. Not only is the menu full of delicious Italian-inspired options, but the service is incredible. It is always a must-do for my husband and me when we cruise. We also love the intimate feel of the restaurant and beautiful details in the decor. We sometimes forget we are in the middle of the ocean when we're there! The only thing I struggle with when dining at Palo is deciding which night to miss in the main dining rooms because I do enjoy the
rotational dining experience so much! Although scheduling is always subject to change, night six on the Disney Fantasy is typically semi-formal night. The menu will vary depending on which dining room you are assigned on that particular night. When I sailed this past April,
Royal Court offered the Captain's Gala Dinner,
Animator's Palate presented their Animation Magic show, and
Enchanted Garden had their Prince & Princess Dinner. The one you do not want to miss is Animation Magic in Animator's Palate. I called ahead and requested a dining rotation that did not have Animator's Palate falling on our Palo night. Disney Cruise Line can not guarantee a specific rotation, but it does not hurt to give them a call at (800) 951-3532 to have a request noted on your reservation. They also allow modifications for Palo dining on the afternoon of embarkation once you find out your rotation at check-in at the cruise terminal. It will be listed on the front of your "Key to the World" card by the first letter of the restaurant's name.
Thank you for sending in your question! We hope you'll come back to "sea" us again real soon.
