Ahoy, Tana! Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question about your upcoming holiday on the
Disney Wonder! How exciting that you’ll be setting sail from Melbourne and heading to beautiful
Hobart, Tasmania. It’s such a wonderful itinerary.
I took a peek at your sailing, and it looks like
Pirate Night is scheduled for Night 3 of your cruise. Entertainment is always subject to change, but that’s the current plan. Maybe after a day exploring Hobart or hiking the trails on Mount Wellington, you can trade your walking shoes for a pirate bandana!
Many Guests go all out for Pirate Night, and it’s such a fun evening. You’ll see everything from simple pirate bandanas to full swashbuckling costumes, and everyone is encouraged (but not required) to join in. Disney provides a complimentary bandana for each Guest at dinner, and you can find extra pirate gear and accessories in the onboard shops if you'd rather not pack anything. Dinner that night is casual (no swimwear or tank tops), and the evening wraps up with a deck party and fireworks at sea. It's a highlight of any Disney Cruise!
The rest of your evenings will be cruise casual, which means relaxed but neat attire such as shorts, jeans, sundresses, or khakis. Most cruises that are four nights or longer also include an optional dress-up night, so you might want to pack a dressier outfit just in case. Palo, the adults-only restaurant, is the only dining location that requires more formal attire.
As for your dining rotation and entertainment schedule, you’ll be able to view all of that once you’re onboard and connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi through the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. It will list your dining room assignments, showtimes, and special events each day. Be sure to catch Frozen: A Musical Spectacular, as it’s a fan favorite on the Disney Wonder!
I hope this helps you get ready for your magical sailing Down Under, Tana!
Sea ya real soon,
Eean
