We are going on a 13 night cruise is the credit card hold still 500$ like on 7 night cruises or a higher amount

    Hi Kyle,

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for trusting our team with your Disney vacation planning questions.

Your transatlantic Disney Cruise Line voyage is going to be dreamy! Disney Dream is one of my favorite ships and there is so much fun in store for you and your family as you sail across the Atlantic. Be sure to check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for what to expect on board each day since the transatlantic cruises are full of surprises!

If you are using a credit card as your method of payment for your stateroom folio, you can expect the following holds to be placed depending on your cruise itinerary length:

    • 2-5 Nights $300
    • 6-9 Nights $500
    • 10 Nights or Longer $700.
For your sailing, your credit card will be charged when your balance is $700 and any remaining balance will be charged at the end of your cruise. If your onboard charges are below $700, the balance will be charged to your card at the end of your cruise.

I love the convenience of charging items to your onboard account using the Key to the World card or a DisneyBand+. During your cruise, you can check your folio balance in the Navigator app, which I like to do in case I want to switch my credit card on file or make use of a Disney Gift Card. If you decide to change your payment method, just stop by the Guest Services desk.

We are all so excited for you and your upcoming adventure, Kyle! Sail by any time if you have other questions.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
