For the 5 night Bahamas cruise, do we need passports or is our NYS highlighted drivers licenses ok?

    Ahoy Greg!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I hope you are getting excited for your high seas adventure to the Bahamas!  Pass the time until you set sail by starting your packing lists and downloading your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.  With the app, you can countdown the days until your cruise with all of your Disney pals!

To cruise with Captain Mickey, U.S. citizens sailing from and returning to the same U.S. port can present a government-issued photo ID, like a New York State license, along with an original or copy of your state-issued birth certificate in place of a U.S. Passport or U.S. Passport Card.  When you use your license and birth certificate to fulfill your travel documentation requirements to board the ship, be sure you are using your state-issued birth certificate and not the ceremonial birth certificate from the hospital.

Once you have your documentation ready, there is nothing but smooth sailing straight through to Castaway Cay!  Disney's private island is my favorite place to visit.  Don't miss the adult exclusive Serenity Bay Beach and the Serenity Bay BBQ for lunch.  It is the most peaceful place on the island and the lunch is unique to this location, you can even order steak here!

Enjoy your vacation, Greg!  Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail.

    "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
