My niecesand my nephews will be visiting us in Florida and would like to take them to the parks, will I be able to buy tickets for them with my florida resident discount?

Hi there, Rizalie! Welcome to planDisney!

How incredibly sweet that you want to take your nieces and nephews to Walt Disney World! What a lucky bunch they are to have you in their lives.

It's pretty awesome to be able to take advantage of some Florida resident discounts while your family is visiting. Here's how your discount works. Anyone over the age of 18 has to show proof of Florida residency in order to use a discounted ticket. This could be your Florida driver's license, a state ID card, or even your most recent (within the last two months) bank statement, mortgage statement, or utility bill. Anyone under the age of 18 would not have to prove residency, so you are welcome to share the love with your nieces and nephews by buying tickets for them with your discounts, as long as they are under the age of 18.

To make it a little more convenient, if you are using a state ID, driver's license, or military ID from a Florida base to show you are a Florida resident, you can do your verification digitally through your My Disney Experience app. Just use the Customize Your Ticket step.

I hope you and your family have a practically perfect visit, Rizalie!
