Hi Rachel!
Although eating out may be hard for someone with food allergies, the
Walt Disney World Resort really tries to help guests with
special dietary requests seamlessly navigate through all of the
dining options while considering their food allergies! Most of the chefs, restaurants, and quick-service dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort can accommodate the eight most common food allergies. These are allergies to gluten or wheat, eggs, fish, milk or lactose, peanuts and tree nuts, shellfish, soy, and corn. Many of the restaurants in the Walt Disney World Resort even have allergy-friendly menus available for you!
Guests with one or two allergies can tell the server, a chef, or a Cast Member who specializes in food allergies about their dietary needs when they arrive at the restaurant and should also indicate the allergies when making their reservations. For guests with four or more allergies, or a party with multiple guests that have allergies, the Walt Disney World Resort asks that you contact Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com after you have made your dining reservations but at least 14 days before your arrival. This will give them time to prepare for your arrival and to do everything they can to meet your needs and make sure that your dining experience is exceptional.
Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
