Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karen!
I love LOVE, and I love that you are helping your nephew plan
a fairytale proposal at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
If his fiancée-to-be loves Ariel, I think
the perfect place to propose is her grotto! When they arrive at the greeting, let the Cast Member attendant in on his plan. He might even be able to slip the
engagement ring to them. They will subtly let Ariel know (hopefully handing the ring over without anyone noticing). While the
Disney PhotoPass Photographer is documenting the greeting, he should drop to one knee! (Thinking about this, I want to be the next group in line to watch!)
Second, Disney PhotoPass Photographers are in key locations across
Magic Kingdom Park. My husband suggested looking for a photographer at the East Plaza Garden next to Cinderella Castle. They can capture their magic moment, and provide
a unique super-zoom video from an angle above the theme park. Have someone distract his love and alert the photographer. That way,
they can capture all the surprise and delight!
If he genuinely wants "princessy," Cinderella has the perfect option! The
Glass Slipper Engagement enhancement is at her Royal Table. It includes signature dining for two, a glass slipper on a bed of rose petals and a celebratory toast! A Disney PhotoPass Photographer will be on hand to capture the fairytale moment. Book the reservation online, and
contact the special events office at least 72 hours before the meal.
To top off "all things princess" for the proposal, he should look at the
Enchanted Disney Fine Jewelry Collection. They have a gorgeous jewelry box full of engagement rings inspired by our favorite royal ladies! If you need additional ideas, or
something extra enchanted to add to the proposal,
Disney Engagement Planners will help your dreams become a reality. Honestly, your wish is their command!
I wish you much Pixie-Dust in planning Happily Ever After!
