Hi William! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
Currently, Guests can enter the parks at Disneyland Park with a valid admission ticket and a theme park reservation. The good news is there is flexibility with theme park reservations thanks to the ability to modify an existing reservation. Theme park availability isn't guaranteed, but she can check the
availability calendar before selecting her new preferred date. After she's found an available date, she's ready to modify the reservation. Doing that now will ensure more availability. I can walk you through the process.
If your niece has linked her tickets to her Disneyland Resort account, the existing reservation can be accessed from the
Theme Park Reservation page. Scroll down and click the "Make or Modify Park Reservations" button. She should see her confirmed reservations on the next page and a link to modify them to a new preferred date. If the admission tickets are
Park Hopper tickets, she'll be selecting the park she'd like to start the day in.
If your niece purchased 1-day tickets, these tickets are priced on a
tier system. She can select a theme park reservation day within the same tier or lower without incurring a charge. However, if she'd like to select a day in a high tier, she'll need to upgrade to that tier and pay the difference. Prices and terms are subject to change.
I hope she's feeling as right as rain and able to visit soon! There's so much to explore in the parks right now, including
Season of the Force. We're huge Star Wars fans in our house, so this is our favorite time at Disneyland Resort.
May the Force be with you.
Elizabeth
