Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer!
Thank you for cruising by with your question! It sounds like you are planning a high seas adventure with your niece. With so much
magic included when you sail with Captain Mickey, I am certain you will make wonderful memories together as you sail away!
One thing that I believe sets Disney Cruise Line apart from so many other vacation options is that they have created
experiences and spaces for everyone from the youngest sailor to the young at heart. There are
onboard activities like
Pirate Night, character meet and greets, time in the
pools and Broadway caliber shows in the Walt Disney Theatre that are welcoming for all guests. There are family friendly showings of first run Disney feature films in the
Buena Vista Theatre where the lights are on and you are even able to sing and dance during the film!
Your niece can enjoy some time in either of the teen clubs,
Edge or
Vibe, while you sail as well! If your niece may need special considerations for any of these activities to ensure she can enjoy every moment, Disney Cruise Line can provide some assistance and accommodations specific to
guests with Autism. For more information on cruise activities or to discuss your niece's needs in detail, you can contact
Disney Cruise Line's Special Services Team before your cruise.
I hope I have steered you in the right direction, Jennifer! Please sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you embark on this special getaway with your niece!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
