Welcome aboard, Tracey! Your kiddos are the same ages as mine, so I definitely can recommend some of our favorite adventures in those exciting ports of call.
In Grand Cayman, visiting the Turtle Farm was tops on our list in the past. The
Boatswain's Adventure Marine Park adventure is a great one that will take your family there to explore the area on your own. My son still talks about the time he got to climb into the water with the baby sea turtles. What an experience! And we loved the conch burger if you eat at Schooner's Bar and Grill at the Turtle Farm. Delicious! I can't wait to have it again!
Cozumel was another favorite spot and the
Cozumel Ruins and Beach Tour was the perfect adventure for us. Adults and older kids got a great history lesson and were immersed in the culture as we visited the ancient Mayan ruins. Even my son who was four at the time thought it was wonderful to run around imagining how the native people used to live. Then it was off to the Playa Mia beach club to spend the rest of the day relaxing and playing in the waves. The kids can play to their hearts' content while the parents can sip a fruity beverage on a lounge chair in the shade. Plus, this tour will take you around the entire island of Cozumel with beautiful views, so even the travel is an adventure!
Finally, in Falmouth, an absolute must-do is a trip to Jamaica's number one spot: Dunn's River Falls. There are a few Port Adventures taking families there, some incorporating other adventures along the way, like dolphin swims or even a shark encounter!
Have fun exploring the Port Adventures, Tracey. Let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail!
