Hi, next year we will be coming to Walt Disney World in October to celebrate my 16th and my dads 50th - is there somewhere we can get badges? This is our 4th trip so was wondering if there were any special, magical tips (WDW secrets) that we shouldn't miss?

You can definitely get birthday buttons! If you are staying on property you can ask at the front desk of your resort. If not, just stop by guest services at the entrance to any of the theme parks and they will be happy to give you both a pin.

I don't know about 'secrets' per se, but there are definitely some hidden gems in the parks! Have you tried looking for Hidden Mickeys? Or have you done a treasure hunt? Passporter has a great treasure hunt book, and Steve Barrett has written more than one book to help you hunt for hidden mickeys.

You could also take time to really explore the countries in Epcot, or the trails and learning centers in Animal Kingdom. I find that most people blow right by these, or only look very briefly, and they're missing out on some really cool stuff!

The resorts are another great way to dive further into the Disney magic. If you've not yet visited them all, consider picking one or two and spending a few hours there. The themeing is really incredible, especially at the deluxe resorts. Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge are my favorites for exploration.

There are also lesser visited gems like the mini golf courses and Disney Quest that are a lot of fun! My family loves Disney Quest - it's so much more than an arcade! We could spend hours and hours there without getting bored. Try to visit on a sunny day - it's much more crowded when it rains!

    Hope that helps!
