Next week we can start doing bookings and reservations for our upcoming trip. We wanna do the hoop de doo musical review but we don't know how to get there. What transportation do we take and from what park do we need to get transportation from. Thanks

    Rob,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

My family loves the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! The show is fun, the atmosphere is electric, and the food is really quite good. Getting there, however, can be a challenge! Lucky for you, our annual family trips to the Revue have prepared us with sure-fire directions on how to get there with as little headache as possible. Just follow these steps.

    1. From whatever resort you have as your starting point, simply take the bus, boat, monorail, or walk to the Magic Kingdom Park. The only exception to this is if you are staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. More on that later.
    2. Once at the Magic Kingdom, simply hop on the boat headed to Fort Wilderness. The ride should take about 15 minutes and be prepared to wait for the next boat when calculating your travel time. You will find it directly in front of the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. Just in case you were not sure, no, you do not have to enter the Magic Kingdom to get to the boats.
    3. When you arrive at the dock to Fort Wilderness, you are just steps away from your dining destination! You will find it just to your right, and it is in the main building along with Trails End. By the way, if you are staying at the Wilderness Lodge you could walk there (it would be a bit over a mile, or 1 1/2 kilometers), or boat along with everyone else. I would opt for the boat. You can catch that from the resort dock.

    BONUS TIP
If you have any extra time on your hands before or after dinner, consider visiting the nearby Settlement Trading Post. This resort store has some really fun souvenirs, including resort-specific shirts.

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
