    On our next visit, there will be 3 adults and 3 children. We do not want to stay at a value resort? Any suggestions as far as accomodations (1 room vs 2 rooms)? We really liked the AKL and the Wilderness Lodge.

    You just named two of my favorite Disney resorts!  (The third being the Beach Club)  However, at both of those resorts you would need to have 2 rooms, as they are not set up to accommodate a party of 6. 

    Depending on the ages of the children, you may be able to stay in one of the monorail resorts, which can sleep 5 plus a child under 3 in a crib (pack n play).  We just stayed at the Grand Floridian in August and my daughters loved the day bed more than the regular bed!

    The Ft. Wilderness cabins are also an option, and they would offer the added benefit of a full kitchen.  These cabins are quite nice and have room for 6 guests of any age.

    I know you said you'd rather not stay in a value resort, but have you seen the new family suites at the All-Star Music resort?  They are more spacious than regular rooms, offering a living room, kitchenette, master bedroom, and two bathrooms.  It would be a way to have your entire party in the same room.

    Your final option for keeping everyone in one group is to stay in one of Disney's deluxe villa resorts.  These are really beautiful accommodations - as a Disney Vacation Club member myself, I can completely vouch for them.  However, this is also by far your most expensive option, so bear that in mind.
